Small Group Courses

Campus Rec is piloting a new series of small group courses! These introductory courses meet for four sessions to learn the fundamentals of a specific activity. Small group courses are led by knowledgeable and experienced instructors in a supportive community environment, perfect for members new to the activity.

All small group courses require registration through our member portal and are being offered at a low price of $20 for this term only as part of our trial period. Participants will be asked to provide feedback. Registration opens March 31st at 8 am. Reserve your spot today!

Women on Weights

Mondays starting 4/28-5/19 | 10 am –  11 am

Join Campus Rec personal trainers for a 4 week small group course learning to adjust, use, and progress on machines and equipment to create a challenging workout for each muscle group, with the goal to feel more comfortable and confident in the weight room.

Pilates

Pilates Small Group Course

4 Tuesdays starting 4/15 | 4:15 pm – 5:15 pm

This four-week Pilates series is designed to provide a small group experience that helps to build core strength, improve posture, and increase mobility.Whether you are new to Pilates or refining your practice, this class will support you in moving with confidence.

ArmBalances

Arm Balances & Inversions Yoga Course

4 Fridays starting 5/2 | 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm 

Turn your yoga practice upside down with a 4-class series focused on arm balances and inversions. Learn how to do postures like crow pose and headstand in a fun and supportive environment. While this class is open to all levels, some yoga experience is recommended.

Learn to Climb Course

4 Thursdays starting 5/1 | 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm

This four-part course invites you to discover the fundamentals of climbing, from movement on the wall to learning how to belay and ascend on top rope. Our experienced instructors will provide personalized guidance, ensuring you feel confident.
