Inflatable Kayak on the Clackamas

Beat the heat this summer while exploring one of the Willamette River’s many tributaries—the Clackamas River! Expect mostly calm water, with a few short sections of mild class 1 rapids. Starting at Carver Park, we will travel downstream until the Clackamas River meets with the Willamette River. Join us for a slow and relaxing paddle past a wide variety of flora and fauna along the banks of the river. This is a great trip to hone your kayaking skills!

Difficulty Level

Easy: Relatively low to moderate physical activity; no previous experience needed.

Registration Deadline & Pre-Trip Meeting: Sign up in person at the Outdoor Program office located at 505 SW Harrison Street on July, 13 at 5:00 pm.
