Amplify your voice by joining our advisory board!
SSWC is funded by the Student Fee Association and we're required to have a board of mostly students who share opinions and concerns and vote on decisions that affect our services. The board is an important part of our decision-making process and board meetings have yielded lots of great discussions. We're looking for students to join our board! No experience necessary - we'll make it easy and fun. This is a volunteer opportunity, a resume-builder, and a way to be more engaged in your PSU experience. Advisory Board Member Responsibilities:
- Attend 2 meetings per term.
- Meetings are one hour long, one week apart. The first meeting is for presentations and content. The second meeting is for discussion.
- We will meet in person, if Covid restrictions allow, with options to attend remotely.
- Participate in remote voting after board meetings, by completing a google form.
- Bring your questions, concerns, and energy. We want to hear from you!
