PSU Career Center staff members assist Portland State University (PSU) students and alumni with career development and job search needs. Through individual appointments and workshops, the Career Center helps students with the career decision-making process. In addition, the Career Center teaches students and alumni how to write resumes, interview, and conduct effective job searches.

Through PSU CareerConnect, the Career Center posts part-time and full-time jobs as well as internships. It also coordinates an on-campus recruiting program where employers interview seniors on campus for career positions.

Eligibility Requirements for Career Center Services

Students who have been formally admitted to Portland State University and are currently registered for classes are eligible for Career Center services. (Admitted students who attended classes spring term and will be continuing fall term may access services during summer term even if not enrolled in classes.)

Alumni of Portland State University who hold a degree or certificate (courses must be taken for credit and appear on a PSU transcript) are eligible for Career Center services. Fees may apply.
