The success of a credit-bearing internship experience largely depends upon the investment of the student and his or her university-based faculty or staff sponsor. As a sponsor, your responsibility is to guide the student’s progress throughout their internship, to ensure that learning objectives are being met, and to offer feedback as the student documents and reflects on work performed at an internship site.
