Veteran Student Orientation

Welcome to PSU!

Before we get started, let's go over some quick terminology:

While we are called the Veterans Resource Center, our community includes not just veterans but also families, dependents, active duty members, and reservists. To encompass everyone, you will often hear us use the term military-affiliated. When we talk about Veterans in the context of services, we are usually talking about multiple affiliated identities. Unless we say something is specifically for Veterans, assume that if you'd benefit from it, you are welcome!

Some of our Veteran Support Staff

What is it?

Hosted by the VRC, you'll meet our full Veteran support team and learn about the essential services PSU offers. Along with the VRC staff, our team includes folks from Vet Success on Campus (VSOC), the Disability Resource Center, 3rd Party Billing (PSU Finances) and Veteran Certification!

Who is it for?

All military-affiliated students will find information provided in the orientation useful! However, a large portion will be focused on benefit-related information, which we understand not everyone will be utilizing to attend PSU.
