Veteran Commencement 2025 Details

Exact Date: Thursday, June 12th, 2025

This year's commencement will take place at the Native American Student and Community Center from 2 to 4 PM! Catering will be provided on the day and graduates will be allowed to bring up to three guests.

Please Note: You must have applied to graduate in order to walk at Commencement. You do not need to participate in the Veteran Commencement Ceremony to qualify for Veteran cords.

VRC Commencement Regalia

What is it?

This is a separate event from the larger PSU commencements and is meant to be a smaller, more intimate ceremony for the VRC community. This group holds a special place at the heart of PSU, and we would like to honor those that are graduating this year. It is a huge accomplishment!

More Information

This event is for Veteran and military-affiliated students who have graduated in Fall, Winter, or who have applied to graduate this Spring & Summer.

We host this event in the Native American Student and Community Center, and will be following the NASCC Code of Conduct during the event.

Important to note

Students must have applied to graduate in order for the Veterans Spring Commencement registration to be verified. For more information on how to apply for graduation at PSU, find information here for Undergraduate and here for Graduate

How to get a free Veteran Regalia Cord?

Please note: before receiving Veteran Cords, you must have applied for Spring and Summer graduation or have already graduated in Fall/ Winter.

All students who are walking in our Veteran Commencement will receive Veteran cords on the day (registration required).

For those who want cords but are unable to participate in the Veteran ceremony, the Commencement Registration form now has a section for cord pick up only. All graduation requirements still apply, and the cord pick up window will be June 2nd to June 13th, 2025.
