Spring presented

 

  1. Jola Ajibade, geography faculty, gave a talk titled, “Radical Imaginings: Global Climate Relocations and Transformative Justice” for the Geography Seminar Series at Oregon State University on April 29.
  2. Talya Bauer, and Berrin Erdogan, business faculty, presented as part of the “Meet the Editors” panel at the annual meeting of Western Academy of Management on March 17 at Waikoloa Village, Hawaii.
  3. David Cadiz, business, Donald Truxillo, psychology faculty, and Lale Yaldiz, business, presented the poster “Development, Validity, and Nomological Network of the Morale Aging at Work Scale” at the annual conference of Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology on April 28. The poster was recognized as a top 10 poster at the conference. 
  4. Maude Hines, English faculty, gave a lecture, “Slavery's Ghosts: Gothic Encounters in American Middle-Grade Reader,” on April 28 at the Centre for Research in Children's Literature at the University of Cambridge.
  5. Nick Light, business faculty, presented “Biting the Bullet: Consumers' Responses to Mass Shootings” to the Cognitive and Affective Influences in Decision Making Lab at the University of Oregon on Jan. 18.
  6. Dilafruz Williams, education faculty, presented a talk, “Regenerative Hope: Living Soil as Poetic and Critical Text,” at the School Gardens Network Summit on April 24 in Denver.
