Currently Accolades: Grants for June 7, 2021

  1. Karlyn Adams-Wiggins, psychology faculty, has been selected as a 2021 National Academy of Education (NAEd)/Spencer Postdoctoral Fellow. The fellowship provides $70,000 to early-career researchers whose projects address critical issues in the history, theory or practice of formal or informal education. Adams-Wiggins’ research will focus on marginality trajectories in middle school inquiry science.
  2. Jola Ajibade, geography faculty, was awarded a $75,000 seed grant from the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) to support work on equitable and transformative resilience planning for climate-related cascading events in the Portland Metro Area.
