The COE uses survey data and public employment data to analyze the employment of graduates.
An Employment Survey is sent 6 months after completion and students are asked five questions about their current employment situation. The typical response rate for the Employment Survey is 40-47%. The data from the survey reflect all graduates of the College of Education including graduates of teacher, administrator, higher education, and counselor preparation programs.
As shown in the Employment Survey, over a high percentage of graduates who complete the survey find employment within the first 6 months of completing a program and they are primarily employed in their field.
The Alumni Survey is sent two years after completion asking for program feedback and employment information. Typical response rates for the Alumni Survey yield an 18-24% response rate. The data from the survey reflect all graduates of the School of Education including graduates of teacher, administrator, higher education, and counselor preparation programs.
As shown in the Alumni Survey, a high percentage of graduates who complete the survey are employed and they are primarily working in their field.
