Congratulations and welcome to the Viking Community! Now that you've been accepted, you and your family are invited to attend an Admitted Student Open House to celebrate your acceptance with fellow admitted students.

Admitted Student Open Houses are your opportunity to discover all that Portland State University has to offer and will include academic department representatives, admissions and financial aid information and a campus tour. Join us for refreshments and bagels and learn more about your next steps as an admitted student. These events are specifically for undergraduate students starting at PSU in fall 2024. 

Plus, all attendees are entered in a raffle to win scholarships and PSU swag at each event! The University Honors College will have representatives at each event and Bilingual Spanish programming will be available on the following dates:

Bilingual Spanish Programming:  March 22, April 6, and April 13. 

PSU will also be hosting an Admitted Student Reception in Northern California on Sunday, March 24. See the calendar below to view all upcoming event dates and sign up now!

Open House Schedule

• Check in at University Welcome Center
• Enjoy bagels, coffee, and other refreshments 
• Mingle with campus representatives and students
• Admitted student next steps presentation and Q&A
• Take a specialized campus tour
• Win prizes in the raffle!

FAFSA Assistance

Following the Admitted Student Open House students can receive 1:1 support with filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The 2024–25 FAFSA is now available and financial aid representatives will be available to assist. All students should complete the form annually.
