Molly Franz is a Research Speech-Language Pathologist in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences at Portland State University. She works with Dr. Carolyn Quam, Assistant Professor, in Dr. Quam's research lab, the Child Language Learning Center. Molly's primary role is to coordinate a study which investigates language and learning among preschoolers with and without developmental language disorder. Her overarching professional goal is to contribute to the field of speech-language pathology through the pursuit of accurate and effective identification and treatment strategies for individuals with communication disorders, especially among underserved and underrepresented populations.
