  1. Paula Carder, Institute on Aging director, and Sarah Dys MPA, co-presented “Pro Re Nata Use of Psychotropic Medications in Assisted Living” at the Gerontological Society of America’s annual scientific meeting this November.
  2. Paula Carder, Institute on Aging director; Lindsey Smith MPP; Taylor Bucy MPH; and Jaclyn Winfree, Institute on Aging, co-presented “State Variability in Assisted Living Regulations, Access and Outcomes for Persons With Dementia: Presenter Discussion” at the Gerontological Society of America’s annual scientific meeting this November.
  3. Annabelle Dolidon, world languages and literatures faculty, presented “Open Source Inclusive Textbook for French Conversation” at the virtual Diversity, Decolonization and the French Curriculum conference from Nov. 13-14. 
  4. Cassio de Oliveira, world languages and literatures faculty, presented the paper “The Trial as Performance in High Stalinist Cinema” at the (virtual) annual conference of the Association for Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies on Nov. 8. 
  5. Sarah Elkinton MA, Diana Yuen ’18, and Carolyn Quam, Speech and Hearing Sciences faculty, co-presented “Processing and Attrition of Tone and Vowel in Mandarin-English Bilinguals of Varying Proficiency” virtually at the Boston University Conference on Language Development in November.
  6. Margaret Hess MS ’20; Amy Kaehr ’20; Anna Zhen ’20; Julie Reeder, Speech and Hearing Sciences affiliate faculty; and Carolyn Quam, Speech and Hearing Sciences faculty, co-presented “Factors Impacting Heritage Language Maintenance in Children” at the virtual Oregon Speech-Language and Hearing Association Fall Conference in October.
