Biography:
Sarah’s background as a case manager on a large federal housing redevelopment project in San Antonio, Texas has inspired her research goals of finding ways to make affordable housing development in the United States more resident and community-centered. She currently works as a Policy Analyst for Hacienda CDC, a Latino-led and serving housing organization. As part of her graduate research work Sarah has participated in research projects related to the Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), Community Land Trusts (CLT), affordable housing development, and state/local housing policy. In her free time, she likes creative writing and watching TV with her cats.
