In this interactive and engaging workshop facilitated by CEPE instructor Jen Birk, participants will explore effective conflict resolution strategies. Through a combination of activities, discussions, and self-reflection, attendees will develop practical skills to address conflicts in various contexts.
Key Focus Areas:
Active Listening:
Participants will learn the art of active listening, honing their ability to understand others’ perspectives without judgment.
Practical exercises will enhance their empathetic communication skills.
Examining Biases:
The workshop will encourage participants to recognize and challenge their biases.
Through group discussions and case studies, attendees will explore how biases impact conflict dynamics.
Understanding Personal Conflict History:
Reflecting on their own conflict experiences, participants will gain insights into patterns and triggers.
Facilitators will guide them in identifying constructive ways to manage conflicts.
These skills can be immediately applied in personal, professional, and community settings.
