Annual Events

With the generous support of donors within the community, we host three annual major events to serve the broader community: The Solomon Memorial Lecture, The Levy Event and the Lokey Program. The Solomon Memorial Lecture

The Gus and Libby Solomon Memorial Lecture is an annual event. 2025 will mark its 20th year. This annual event is generously underwritten by Richard B. Solomon and Alyce Flitcraft. Levy Event

The Annual Levy Event is made possible with the support of the Lawrence Levy and Pamela Lindholm-Levy Judaic Studies Program Fund to support speakers, performances, symposia and other programming.

Lokey Program

This annual program is made possible thanks to the generous support of Lorry I. Lokey.

Community Events

In partnership with local Jewish community organizations our program co-sponsors an array of additional events throughout the academic year. We are proud to support our student organized events and clubs and we host departmental open houses and casual get togethers in our Student Commons space located within the Judaic Studies office suite.
