To maintain eligibility and benefits an employee must remain in a benefits-eligible position listed above and have 80 hours of paid time in each pay period.
If an employee has less than 80 hours of pay in a pay period, then benefits will end that month and a COBRA notice will be sent. Once an employee has returned to 80 hours of pay in a pay period, benefits will be reinstated and effective the following month. Flexible spending accounts cannot be reinstated and require a form to re-enroll.
