  1. Pelin Basci, University Honors College faculty, published a review essay titled “Perils of Turkey’s Urban Wilderness in the 1970s and After” in the December 2021 issue of Current History.  
  2. Heejun Chang, geography faculty and interim associate dean for research and graduate programs, Paul Loikith, geography faculty, and Lynne Messer, OHSU-PSU School of Public Health faculty, authored a paper titled “The June 2021 Extreme Heat Event in Portland, OR, USA: Its Impacts on Ecosystems and Human Health and Potential Adaptation Strategies,” published in Journal of Extreme Events.
  3. Miranda Mosier, child, youth and family studies faculty, authored the article “We Support You...to an Extent: Identities, Intersections and Family Support Among First-Generation Students in a School of Social Work,” published in the journal Affilia: Feminist Inquiry in Social Work. 
  4. Will Parnell, department chair for curriculum and instruction, authored a book forward, “Multiplicities in Lived Experiences: Storying as a Way Forward” in the book “Making Space for Storied Leadership in Higher Education: Learning with Migrant and Refugee Populations in Early Childhood and Teacher Education Contexts.”
