Affiliated Programs

Affiliated Programs have their own admission requirements and deadlines:

Taking courses without admission

Our courses are available to Non-Degree Seeking students. This a good option for the following scenarios:

  • You want to update skills in only a few courses and not receive a degree.
  • You have not yet been admitted to ETM but expect to be admitted later. You can begin earning credits right away and apply them to your graduate program later. (Note that the maximum number of pre-admission credits that can be used is 16.)
  • You are considering different degree programs, universities, or locations. All credits you receive are fully accredited and transferable to PSU and institutions that accept PSU credits.

(Note that Non-Degree Seeking students do not qualify for financial aid and cannot obtain a student visa.)

Steps to register for ETM classes as a Non-Degree Student:

  1. Complete the non-degree application.
  2. Once admitted as a non-degree student, you will need to activate your Odin Account in order to get access to any PSU resources, including registration for classes.
  3. Contact etminfo@pdx.edu to seek instructions on permission for enrolling in the course.
  4. Prospective students may always attend the first class of a course they are considering, even without registration.
