Vaccinations

Making decisions regarding vaccinations can be difficult.  We recommend that you consult with your primary physician and make an informed decision given entry/exit requirements, CDC recommendations, and your current state of health. You also have the option of making an appointment at a local travel clinic to discuss any health concerns or questions you have. Travel clinicians can provide recommended vaccinations and medication prescriptions based on your immunization/health history and travel plans.

It is important to note that some countries may require proof of vaccination for some diseases, while others are recommended.  One of the best places to start researching this is with the Center for Disease Control.  They have an extensive website specifically for travelers.  With the help of your physician, we know you will make the best decision for your health as well as the health of those around you.

Covid Vaccines
PSU does not currently require students to have the Covid-19 vaccine in order to study abroad  However, some partners and some host countires may require individuals to be vaccinated prior to travel. Please confer with your Education Abroad Advisor about the specific requirements for your program of interest.
