New Student Orientation is an essential part of your undergraduate college experience, provides a foundation for success, and is required for all incoming undergraduate students. New Student Orientation will provide you with details about campus life, student services, degree requirements, and, upon completion, you will receive course registration access for your first term.
Fall New Student Orientation sessions take place in person on the PSU campus (international students are not required to attend orientation in person).
Non-degree, postbaccalaureate, and graduate students are not required to complete this New Student Orientation program. There may be orientation requirements specific to your program, contact your department for more information.

Sign Up for Fall 2024 In-Person New Student Orientation
Transfer Student Orientation Sessions will include resource fairs, community-based and informational breakout sessions, academic advising meetings to register for classes and arrange further advising appointments, the opportunity to get your student ID, the chance to explore campus and meet other new PSU students, and more.
First Year Student Orientation Sessions are designed to help you get acquainted with campus, meet the people who will help you succeed at PSU face-to-face, and prepare for your first term of classes. For First Year Students, a second day of Orientation is optional but highly recommended and will include additional breakout sessions and workshops, resource center open houses, college success tips and workshops, recreation center, campus, and housing tours, and more.
In order to register for New Student Orientation, you must first confirm your enrollment. The priority deadline to confirm enrollment for fall term is June 15, 2024. The enrollment confirmation deadline for Fall 2024 is September 23, 2024.
