Prospective students seeking guidance on how to navigate any aspect of the admission process are welcome to schedule appointments with Portland State admission counselors. You can choose to meet in-person, by phone, or in a virtual Zoom meeting. To view available appointments, select the green dates displayed on the calendar. All appointments are scheduled in Pacific time.

Isaiah Nixon was born and raised in Salem, Oregon. After graduating from South Salem High School, he went on to attend the University of Oregon in Eugene. During his time in college, he worked on an intersectional events team to plan events on campus to specifically serve diverse communities. In 2018, he graduated with a degree in public relations from Oregon's school of journalism and communications. Shortly thereafter, he started his professional career by working with the admissions team at Linfield University for several years. This experience helped him discover a passion for working in higher education and helping students begin their college journey. Isaiah joined the Portland State admissions team in Fall 2022 and is grateful to work on such an inclusive and supportive team. He currently serves on the multicultural recruitment team, working specifically with native and indigenous communities.
