Kathie Godfrey (2000) M.A.

Kathie Godfrey received her MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from
Portland State University and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership at PSU. She coordinates the second-year German program and also instructs foreign language teaching methods. Her research interests are internationalization in higher education, teaching/learning culture, and the development of critical thinking. She is the assistant director of the Deutsche Sommerschule am Pazifik. She is currently serving as Chair of the FLL Assessment Committee, and is part of the research team for the Russian Flagship. Her extensive language teaching experience has included a variety of second and foreign language settings.
