Ways to Engage

As a student resource center, it is our goal to involve queer and trans students, faculty, staff, and alumni in our processes as often and as thoughtfully as possible. We have opportunities to volunteer in the center, plan programming, help out during events, and serve on our advisory board. We could also work with students interested in developing an internship with us. Scroll to find out more about opportunities to get involved.

Volunteering & Interning

Volunteering is a great way to build community, develop skills, and contribute in a meaningful way. We love our volunteers!

Volunteers help:

  • flyer around campus,
  • table with us at events,
  • organize our materials,
  • host events,
  • plan events like Trans Empowerment Resistance and Resilience Month (TEMPRR), the Queer Students of Color Conference (QSOCC), and Sex Week,
  • create special projects like our Queer Museum of Art,
  • facilitate affinity groups,
  • and more

We are excited to welcome all types of commitments and offer volunteer trainings to all new volunteers.

We also welcome all intern inquiries and will do our best to meet your internship needs.
