Modern Physics:(covering Quantum and Thermo (Stat. Mech.))

Book - "Concepts of Modern Physics" by Arthur Beiser (through and including Chapter 12)

Classical Mechanics:

Book - "Classical Mechanics" by John Taylor (through and including Chapter 11)

Electricity and Magnetism:

Book - "Intro to Electrodynamics" - by David Griffiths (through and including chapter 7)

*One sheet of notes (both sides) for each day; total for both days = 2 pieces of paper.  If anyone has special needs, please contact the Ph.D. Director at least two weeks prior to the exam, so accommodations can be made.
