Undergraduate Advising

The MME Department highly encourages students to seek advising if they have any questions, concerns, or need guidance through their program. You can either make an advising appointment with one of the advisors listed below, or send an email the MME Department at mmedep@pdx.edu. Make an Advising Appointment

Lower Division Advising (Freshman & Sophomore)

For more general advising questions, students should meet with their Pathway Advisor in MCECS Student Services. Students can meet with an Engineering, Computer Science, Math and Physics Pathway Undergraduate Advisor at any point in their academic career.

Upper Division Advising (Junior & Senior)

Admitted Upper Division students can meet with MME Undergraduate Advisor, Derek Tretheway, to help modify course plans, assist with transfer evaluations, answer questions related to major course content, and more.
