Living Learning Communities
Living Learning Communities (LLCs) like First Year Experience (FYE) and Global Village provide students with a more traditional college experience by offering a nurturing environment with all necessary resources provided.
First Year Experience
The FYE program, located on floors 3-7 of Broadway and floors 3-7 of Ondine, provides a more traditional college experience for students and enhances this first year by incorporating social activities and academic support into the living environment. Global Village
The Global Village program is a program located on the 9th floor of Ondine oriented around providing students a more culturally enriched and internationally engaging living experience. Global Village will be open to upperclassmen in Fall 2012. Learn More »
Buildings
Blackstone
Located along the Park Blocks, just north of Millar Library, this historic five story building was built in 1931 and features a newly renovated common area.
Blumel Hall ***OFFLINE FOR 2012-2013
This building forms an "L" shape between Science Building 2 and Parking Structure 3. This nine-story, 195,500 sq. ft. building was built by PSU in 1986.
Broadway
This building comes with all the latest contemporary accommodations; ideal for progressive tastes. Features 384 studio apartments, lounges and study space.
King Albert
Faces east along the southern edge of the Montgomery Building. There are entrances on both the Eleventh and Montgomery sides.
Montgomery Court
Located at the corner of SW 10th and Montgomery and contains 143 furnished single occupancy rooms. The structure was constructed in two phases between 1916 and 1925.
Ondine
A 15-story high-rise with furnished sleepers and suite-style units. This building has it all. Spectacular views of Mt. Hood and downtown.
Parkway
Built in 1932 and acquired by PSU in 1969, Parkway is situated at the north end of the Park Blocks. Parkway is a five-story residence consisting of unfurnished studios, and one- and two-bedroom units.
St. Helens
This five-story building is tucked into the curve of West Hall, and contains 15 one-bedrooms, 35 studios, and 1 sleeper.
Stratford
Right on the street car line, these apartments are located at the intersection of 10th and Market, just North of Science Building 1. The three-story structure was built in 1927.
Stephen Epler Hall
Built in 2003, Epler Hall is one of the newest additions to University Housing. Each of the 130 modern studio apartments has large windows, built-in appliances and bicycle storage.
University Pointe
Opening fall 2012, University Pointe will feature private and shared apartments, leather-style furniture, upgraded interior finishes, 46" flat screen TV's in each apartment, community amenities, sustainble features, card-controlled access, on-site TriMet light rail stop, and much more.
