Hello! My name is Shruti Koley, and I am an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Portland State University School of Business. My substantive research interest is understanding how consumers' emotions and financial experiences affect their consumption decisions. In my work, I examine psychological mechanisms that explain consumer behavior. I use diverse methods in my research, including lab experiments, field experiments, surveys, and secondary datasets. I have an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the College of Engineering, Pune, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai, in India. I received a Ph.D in Marketing from Mays Business School, Texas A&M University, in May 2018.
