Undergraduate Applicant
Complete the Undergraduate Application if you plan to do any of the following:
- pursue a degree at Portland State
- apply for financial aid
- register for 9 or more credits per term
You should consider completing the Non-Degree Entry Application instead, if you are:
- not seeking a degree at Portland State
- planning to enroll in 8 or fewer credits per term, or under 21 credits in summer term
- not planning on receiving financial aid

Undergraduate Application
Online
- Go to the Online Application System
- After creating a login, select Undergraduate as your student type from the drop down menu
- With your application you must submit a non-refundable $50 application fee; you will be required to pay this fee with a Visa or Mastercard
Electronic Paper Application Copy
- Download a paper application
- Pay with check or money order
- Please send in the completed application and payment to the Office of Admissions, Registration and Records
Change term of admission (no fee required)
If you previously applied and paid the $50 fee, you may postpone or change your term of admission for up to 3 consecutive terms with no additional fee (i.e. if you were admitted Fall '08, you may update to Winter '09, Spring '09 or Summer '09.) Complete and submit the Change of Admission Term form

Re-enroll after an absence (no fee required)
If you previously attended PSU as a fully admitted student and have been absent for more than 4 consecutive terms, or have attended another college or university since leaving Portland State, please learn about the process for re-enrollment.
