Currently Accolades: Grants for October 4, 2021

1. Jennifer Allen, public administration faculty, Liliana Caughman, Institute for Sustainable Solutions, and Vivek Shandas, urban and public affairs faculty, will represent Portland State in a five-year, $5.6 million grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA), which creates the Northwest Climate Resilience Collaborative, advancing efforts to adapt to climate change in frontline communities. A partnership between Portland State University, University of Washington Climate Impacts Group and eight community, nonprofit, and university partners, the Northwest Climate Resilience Collaborative will advance community-led, justice-oriented climate adaptation work across Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. It will be one of 11 programs across the country funded through NOAA’s Regional Integrated Sciences and Assessments program.
