Eviction Defense and Diversion Evaluation

Led by Principal Investigator Lisa K. Bates, CUS researchers are evaluating the policies and provision of eviction defense and diversion programs around the state. These programs include tenant counseling, legal representation, mediation, and emergency financial assistance. This mixed-methods evaluation will provide insights into program design and implementation that can reduce the number of evictions in the state.
