McGrath awarded fellowships for upcoming conferences

Dr. Moriah McSharry McGrath, Toulan School Senior Instructor, has been awarded fellowships to participate in several upcoming conferences, from:

  • National Endowment for the Humanities, for the Rust Belt Humanities Lab conference, “Reading, Writing, and Teaching the Rust Belt” at Ursuline College;
  • Council of American Overseas Research Centers and Americas Research Network for their Faculty Development Seminar in Mexico, “Mexico's Indigenous Languages and Cultures,” which helps faculty and administrators gain the requisite first-hand experience needed to develop and improve international courses, curricula, and teaching materials;
  • Teach Global Health, a professional development initiative designed to support global health educators at undergraduate-serving institutions through workshops, a community of educators, and peer-reviewed activities and resources. Dr. McGrath serves on the Educator Advisory Board for this initiative.
