If you receive a Pell Grant, you automatically qualify for the TriMet Reduced Fare Program, which offers 50% off single-use tickets and day passes, and a 72% discount on monthly passes.
Eligibility is also open to individuals with an annual income of $30,120 or less, and families of four earning at or below $62,400. You also automatically qualify if you are enrolled in programs like Oregon Health Plan/Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, HUD, WIC, LIHEAP, Free & Reduced Lunch, or Employment Related Daycare.

You can enroll in the Reduced Fare Program online via TriMet's Webpage or by visiting our office in person. Please be prepared with a State-Issued ID card and your program qualifiying documentation (i.e, a copy of your Pell Grant aware, OHP Card, etc.)
