Academic Year Student Resident & Overnight Permits

Available for University Housing Residents, University Pointe Residents, and nearby off-campus students.

Cost: $1,425 for the academic year ($475 billed every term, Fall-Spring). Summer sold seperately.
Valid Dates: 9/21/24-6/22/25
Purchase: In-Person only at the Transportation Office.

Accessible Parking

Accessible/disabled parking spaces are available in all parking lots and structures operated by PSU. Any PSU parking permit is valid in any accessible space, regardless of location, when displaying a valid DMV disabled parking placard. Day and time restrictions still apply to time-limited PSU permits.

Refund Policy

Refunds are pro-rated until the end of week eight each term.
Permits must be physically returned to the Transportation Office for a refund.
- Parking permit charges are based on possession of the permit, not use.

Permit Regulations and Locations

Only one vehicle may be use the permit at a time, and it must be registered with the Transportation office.
Permits are only valid in their designated locations and times listed on the permit.
Alternative: If driving less frequently, consider Hourly & Visitor Parking.
Limited availability: Permits can sell out quickly- consider ordering a permit online before your designated move in date.

Quantities are limited and tend to sell out quickly. We recommend purchasing permits online before moving in.

University Pointe Residents

University Pointe residents can purchase a parking permit by filling out the University Pointe Resident Purchase Form.

University Pointe residents who are not enrolled in credit hours will be billed via quarterly invoice (Fall, Winter, Spring). Services will continue until the permit expires OR a return is initiated. To initiate a return, please fill out the Tenant Return Form.

All account information, including name, contact, license plate, permit history, citation history, and account balances, are kept private by PSU. This information is only used for business purposes and is not disclosed to individuals other than the account holder. Valid account number, license plate, or citation number must be provided to obtain any of the information listed above, or information deemed private to the account by PSU staff.
