Permit Options

Academic Term Commuter Permits

Ideal for students with changing schedules or credit loads every term.

Spring Term permits will be valid from 3/22-6/22
- These permits must be purchased each academic term and are only valid during the dates listed on the permit.
Purchase: In-person at the Transportation Office.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking spaces are available in all PSU parking lots and structures operated by PSU. Any PSU parking permit is valid in any accessible space, regardless of location, when displaying a valid DMV disabled parking placard. Day and time restrictions still apply to time-limited PSU permits.

Permit Regulations and Locations

Permits may only be utilized by one vehicle at a time and must be registered with PSU Transportation & Parking Services.

Commuter permits are for use by non-resident students and employees and are valid at the locations and times listed below.
Commuter permits are not valid for overnight parking. Vehicles must leave campus before the start of the next business day (8:00 am).
Commuter permits are not valid in Hourly & Visitor parking or Reserved Spaces.

If you are looking for overnight or residential parking, please visit our Student Resident & Overnight Parking page. If you will be driving to campus less frequently, we recommend utilizing Hourly & Visitor parking as an alternative to purchasing a Commuter Permit.

Permit Refunds

Parking permit charges are based on possession of the permit, not use. Pro-rated refunds are available until the end of week eight for fall, winter, and spring terms. Permits must be physically returned as soon as they are no longer needed to receive the maximum refund available. Please visit our office at 1812 SW 6th Avenue to initiate a return.

Vanport Building Student Parking

PCC and OHSU students who attend classes in the Vanport Building can purchase a PSU parking permit at the discounted affiliated student rate.

To purchase a permit, please fill out the Vanport purchase Form. Your request will be processed within 1-3 business days.

This information is only used for business purposes and is not disclosed to individuals other than the account holder. Valid account number, license plate, or citation number must be provided to obtain any of the information listed above, or information deemed private to the account by PSU staff.
