Portland State University is one of America’s Best-in-State Employers for 2022, according to Forbes which published the annual list Aug. 24. The list is created from a survey of 70,000 employees across the U.S. in 25 different industries.
“Our survey considered every aspect of an employee’s experience such as working conditions, salary, potential for growth and diversity,” according to Forbes. “Of the thousands of companies eligible for this recognition, only a select few are awarded in each state.”
The recognition reinforces Portland State’s reputation as an employer that provides excellent employment opportunities on the local and national level.
"This honor is a direct reflection of the people who choose to work here and their dedication to innovate and support our Portland community and beyond,” said Nathan Klinkhamer, associate vice president for Human Resources. “PSU employees fully embody the PSU mission to ‘let knowledge serve the city.’”
