Personal technology, such as a reliable laptop and wi-fi access, is crucial to student success. The purchase of a new and functional laptop can be unreachable for some PSU students who must then use outdated or shared systems. Recipients of this scholarship will receive a quality laptop that is theirs to keep--even beyond their experience at PSU.
The application for the scholarship is an easy process, but there are some qualifications, such as enrollment in a minimum number of credit hours, and eligibility for some level of financial aid. When the scholarship application window is open, the specific details of the minimum qualifications will be listed at that time. While we are working to secure more funding for this scholarship, the need is usually greater than our funding can support.
