The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has a few exciting updates regarding the PSU Help Center!

What’s happening and why?

Starting September 10, 2024, Portland State University (PSU) Single Sign-on (SSO) authentication will be required to access most of the customer-facing support forms and content in the PSU Help Center.

This change will make your PSU Help Center login experience as seamless and consistent as logging into other PSU resources like PSU Gmail or myPSU! Additionally, using SSO authentication will streamline the form submission process and eliminate the need for creating and maintaining a separate PSU Help Center password.

but access to all support forms and content in the following, customer-facing support desks will require Odin accounts and PSU SSO starting September 10, 2024:

What does this mean for you?

You are receiving this email because you have created tickets in the past using an email address other than your odin@pdx.edu. If you do not have an Odin account yet, or you require assistance with an existing Odin account, you will still be able to get help with Odin or Duo Two Factor Authentication (Duo 2FA) issues via email or the public PSU Support Desk, but access to all other support forms and content in the PSU Help Center will require your Odin username, Odin account password, and PSU SSO starting September 10, 2024.

πŸ›ˆ If you encounter issues accessing your ticket history in the PSU Help Center after logging in with your Odin account and PSU SSO, please reach out to OIT by emailing help@pdx.edu or submitting a support request via the public PSU Support Desk, which will be accessible to all without login or PSU SSO.
