Biography:

My passion for Urban Planning stems from its transformative potential to shape vibrant, sustainable communities that prioritize people's connection with nature while addressing their evolving needs. As an advocate for sustainable development, I am committed to crafting vibrant streets and equitable public green spaces that serve as inclusive spaces for all, seamlessly integrating climate resilience strategies into urban infrastructure. Before embarking on my journey in the MURP program at PSU, I delved into the realm of water conservation in California, where I witnessed firsthand the stark disparities in access to essential natural resources, disproportionately affecting marginalized communities. I am driven to be a force for positive change as a planner, working towards dismantling these inequities, fostering inclusive green spaces for communal gatherings, and spearheading the development of sustainable infrastructure to combat climate change. Urban Planning allows me to merge my passion for community development with the challenge of creating a more sustainable future.

Favorite Urban Place: My favorite urban oasis is Pedra do Arpoador in Rio de Janeiro, where nature seamlessly integrates with the cityscape, offering breathtaking sunsets against the backdrop of the ocean. I deeply value urban spaces that prioritize greenery and sustainability, enriching the urban experience for all.

During my leisure time, I enjoy immersing myself in the charm of small towns and exploring their unique offerings. Additionally, I find solace in embarking on invigorating hikes or leisurely bike rides around the city, connecting with nature while experiencing the pulse of urban life.
