Jillian (she/her) has joined CPS as the Professional Programs Student Assistant starting in December 2021. She is in her second and final year of the Master's in Social Work program at PSU, studying clinical social work. Jillian hopes to work in the medical social work field and is completing her advanced year internship at Legacy Emanuel hospital in the emergency department. Originally from Florida, Jillian came to Portland in 2015 after finishing her undergraduate degree in public policy from the University of North Carolina: Chapel Hill. Jillian lives with her partner and two cats and enjoys reading, running, yoga, and being with friends in her spare time. Jillian is looking forward to working with CPS, as she attributes her own involvement with her undergraduate's center for public service to putting her on the path to social work.
