Biography:

My research interest mostly focuses on transportation equity and neighborhood change. My dissertation aims to investigate how to improve accessibility among low-income households by bridging the gap between objective accessibility and subjective accessibility. The research projects that I got involved included the transportation incentive pilot program with PBOT, the impact of Transportation Oriented Development (TOD) projects and autonomous vehicles (AVs), travel behavior among transit-dependent populations, and walking crossing facilities' effects on safety issue. Outside of the program, I like dancing, hiking, planting, and biking to explore different corners of the city. I love to apply the knowledge of urban planning and studies to my own experience of interacting with the environment around.
