Erin Kane


Erin E. Kane, M.S., is an adjunct instructor for the Department of Public Administration in the Mark O. Hatfield School of Government. Erin brings 20+ years of experience working in the nonprofit sector, including in higher education, healthcare, humanities, and culturally specific, community-based organizations. Her tenure began in program and organization management; she then moved into fundraising after completing her Master of Science in Nonprofit Management. Since 2006, Erin has served as a grant writer, grants manager, major gifts officer, and senior development associate for organizations across the Portland Metro Area, including Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA), Planned Parenthood of the Columbia Willamette, Self Enhancement Inc., and Virginia Garcia Memorial Foundation. She is currently working as a development consultant to the Dental Foundation of Oregon and is an active student and advocate for Community Centric Fundraising. When she's not working, you'll find her behind the lens of her camera or in her garden.
