Biography:
Before entering the program, Christina worked as an urban planner in Ningbo, China. The experience brought her great interest in learning how different cultural, political economic, and institutional settings shape planners' value and behavior. And how planners make impacts on changing the planning cultures. Her long-term research interest lies in observing the possibilities to compare urban phenomena across countries. Christina likes to spend her spare time reading, painting, and traveling. She also likes to observe the city she lives in and hope to resume the hobby soon. She loves cities with rich cultures, histories, and phenomenal architectures. Her favorite cities are, Chicago, Philadelphia, Guangzhou, and Ho Chi Minh City.
