Zoe works in the Reuse Room with volunteers to maintain, stock, and organize the room weekly. Before working for Campus Planning and Sustainability, she was a Waste Reduction Task Force volunteer for one year. She is a part of the Honors College as an undergraduate, double majoring in Environmental Studies and French. Before studying at PSU, Zoe helped restart her high school’s Earth Club, which started composting in the cafeteria. It was entirely volunteer based and food waste was collected and hand sorted, then picked up by the city. She is very passionate about reducing waste in all aspects of life. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle is not simply a phrase, but a lifestyle! Outside of work and school, she enjoys visiting family, traveling, hiking, biking, trail building, and wild swimming.
