Ananda is a graduate assistant with the Institute for Sustainable Solutions where she supports research and plans to build community/disaster resilience. She is currently involved in the creation of an earthquake response framework plan for the City of Portland. Ananda is also finishing her second year in the Master of Urban and Regional Planning program where she is focusing on environmental sustainability, climate preparedness, and community resilience. On a Saturday, you might find her at her local coffee shop, taking a walk, or figure skating at Lloyd Center.
