Rebecca Davis first arrived at Portland State in 2020 as Adjunct faculty and is now an Assistant Professor of Practice.
Prior to Portland State she was a clinical social worker (licensed in both Oregon and Washington), a co-Director of an artist LLC, a director of Therapy, Altered, and a K–12 educator in NYC public schools.
Her primary academic and interest areas are dissociative disorders and DID, and the relationship between culture, trauma, and self identity development.
Outside of work she enjoys Olympic-style weightlifting.
