Dear Colleagues,
Last Friday, the department of Energy Released a notice limiting the indirect cost recovery rate to 15% (similar to the approach NIH took in February). This notice was quickly followed by a lawsuit from APLU and others requesting a temporary restraining order to block this reduction from going into effect. This TRO was granted on April 16th. At this time, there is no immediate impact to active DOE awards issued to Portland State University, and we continue to closely monitor for any further information.
