Tina Peterman, Ph.D., LPC, is a Professor of Counselor Education and Interim Dean for the College of Education. She served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the College of Education from 2017 to 2022, chair of the Counselor Education Department from 2015 to 2017, and Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling program coordinator from 2010 to 2016. She obtained her Ph.D. in rehabilitation psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a co-principal Investigator on a long-term training grant from the Rehabilitation Services Administration.

Dr. Peterman was a Fellow of the American Council on Education in 2022-23, where she studied leadership development in higher education. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, she supervises LPC Interns in Oregon through her private practice. She also provides training and professional development to counselors.

Dr. Peterman's research and scholarship focus is on career development for individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses. She is on the Career Development Quarterly editorial board and the past Commission of the National Career Development Association Credentialing Commission.
