Sandhya (they/them) graduated from PSU with a B.S. in Biology in 2021 and joined the Center for Student Health and Counseling (SHAC) in 2022, serving as one of our full-time medical receptionists as well as a member of the SHAC Queer and Trans Care Team. Sandhya has been an active member of the PSU community, serving multiple leadership roles in University Housing and Residence Life, the Department of Biological Sciences, and the BUILD EXITO undergraduate research program. They spent much of their undergrad conducting research with the Center for Life in Extreme Environments and the Shortlidge Biology Education Research Lab.
In their free time, Sandhya enjoys roller skating, thrifting, looking at the Oregon Humane Society’s website, and spending time with their two cats, Dracula and Martinelli.
