Nayem Rahman is an Adjunct Assistant Professor with ETM at Portland State University. He also works as a Senior IT SW Engineer in the Department of Data & Analytics at Intel Corporation. He is an Adjunct Professor of Data & Analytics in the School of Business and Information Technology at Purdue University Global, Indiana. He is also an Adjunct Professor Data Science at Regis University, Denver, Colorado. He received a Master’s degree in Systems Science (Modeling & Simulation) from Portland State University, an MBA in Management Information Systems (MIS), Project Management, and Marketing from Wright State University, Ohio, and a Ph.D. degree in Technology Management (big data tech adoption) from Portland State University. His research focuses on self-service BI, performance optimization in database systems, big data analytics, machine learning, technology adoption, and sustainability of information technology. His research has appeared in journals such as IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Journal of Computer Information System, and the International Journal of Business Intelligence Research. He serves on the Editorial Review Board of the International Journal of End-User Computing and Development (IJEUCD), and the International Journal of Technology Diffusion (IJTD).
